Snow Blower Review 2016
We just experienced the aftermath of Jonas the very big blizzard and we were the county that got the most which went between 3-5 feet of snow in some places and we have been outside working hard with snow blowers getting rid of it and I decided to do a review of the different ones my neighbors had. This is a review of the pros and cons, prices, difficulty, and what they would be used for.

My rating would be...
4 1/2 Stars
I would give it this rating because it is powerful. It is very easy to use because you can move the discharge shoot, the discharge head, the speed and the 2 levers underneath the handles that help you turn side to side right on the control board. But what made it the 1/2 off is that if your in heavy deep snow then the shoot could possibly break or it would prevent you from going further and you would have to be constantly going backwards.
Pros: • This machine has a long discharge shoot
• It has great discharge shoot control with the upgraded control stick on the board
• The Auger shell is very wide
• It has 6 forward speeds and 2 backward
• It has traction control
• An Electric start
Drift cutters
Cons:
• The Auger shell may not fit into small spaces
• It may be hard to blow in high snow because of that long curved discharge shoot that goes over the Auger shell This type of snow blower would be used for residential homes for not heavy duty snow but it will get a driveway cleared in 30 min
This blower would be good here...
It would be good for residential drive ways with fairly long driveways. This machine would also run a lot smoother in not compacted snow and not in deep snow due to the over long discharge shoot.
Price:
$500-$1000
Difficulty:
8 out of 10
My rating would be...
3 Stars.
The reason for this is that because it would be a pain to change the discharge head while snow blowing in different places and because it doesn't have the feature to help you with turning.
Pros:
• It has a wide and long Auger shell
• Powerful engine
• Electric start
Cons:
• Discharge head you have to change manually
• Doesn’t have traction control
This snowblower would be good here...
This snowblower would again be good for residential homes with fairly long drive ways. This machine would be good for compacted snow this one would do better in deep snow but would run more smoothly in smaller snow
Price:
$100-$500
Difficulty:
3 out of 10
My rating would be...
2 Stars because the Auger shell is so small and it only can plow 6-10 inches of snow and it is a pain to have to change the dispatch shoot and the head.
Pros:
• Has an electric start
• Powerful engine
Cons:
• Change direction of discharge shoot and head manually
• Small Auger head
This snowblower would be good here...
This would be good fro small drive ways for residential houses. This machine is good for 6-10 in of snow because the Auger shell is so small. This machine runs smoothly when its powdery snow
Price:
$100-$500
Difficulty:
3 out of 10
My rating would be...
2 1/2 Stars because it has a small auger shell, you have to change the discharge head.
Pros:
• Strong engine
• Control discharge shoot
• Electric start
Cons:
• The discharge head has to be changed manually
• Has a very small Auger shell
This Snowblower would be good here...
This would be good for residential homes with smaller drive ways. This machine works well in powdery snow and snow that is 6-10 inches tall
